  13. These Everex Window 3.0 drivers support Everex extended graphic modes on the
  14. EV-623 Viewpoint VRAM card.

  30. WARNING : This is purely a beta driver and some internal testing has been 
  31.           done, but some 'REAL LIFE' testing may be needed. EVEREX Systems 
  32.           isn't responsible for any losses due to this driver. If you find
  33.           any incompatibilities or bugs in these drivers, please leave a

  36.          INSTRUCTIONS  FOR  INSTALLING  EVEREX  WINDOWS 3.0  DRIVERS

  38. Step 1 - Install Windows 3.0 on your system if it is not already installed.
  39.  
  40. Step 2 - Copy the Windows 3.0 drivers onto a blank formated diskette.
  41.          Go to the hard disk which contains Windows 3.0, and change to 
  42.          the Windows 3.0 directory.  For example: CD \WIN3.
  43.  
  44. Step 3 - Insert the diskette containing the Everex Windows 3.0 driver into
  45.         drive A.  Run the EVSETUP program to install the Everex Windows 
  46.         3.0 drivers. At the DOS type:
  47.          A:\WIN3\EVSETUP and hit <ENTER> key.
  48.  
  49. Step 4 - EVSETUP program will ask you if you want to copy the Everex drivers
  50.          to your hard disk, where Windows 3.0 is installed, answer yes by
  51.          typing in "y".
  52.  
  53. Step 5 - Run Windows 3.0 SETUP by typing in "setup" at the DOS prompt and
  54.          hitting ENTER key.
  55.  
  56. Step 6 - When SETUP program displays your current configuration, use arrow
  57.          keys to highlight the "Display:...."  line then hit ENTER key.  A
  58.          list of display options appears on your screen.
  59.  
  60. Step 7 - Use arrow keys to highlight to the desired driver and hit ENTER key.
  61.          Hit ENTER again (at the "Accept the configuration shown above" line)
  62.          to accept the configuration as shown and exit the Windows SETUP
  63.          program.

  65. Step 8 - Windows is now configured to run in your selected video resolution.
